Is Dubai an expensive or cheap travel destination and what makes it a desirable place to visit?
United Arab Emirates
birdy asked:
I am more interested in nature then nightlife and fancy hotels and restaurants. So, tell me about the simple pleasures of Dubai please.
How are Americans treated there?
Do they realize that many Americans oppose the U.S. governments choices too!

Dubai is kinda expensive. Look up hotel prices to get an idea. The currency exchange stays around 3.50 to 1 US dollar. It has a lot of interesting places to go to including the Emirates Mall which has alot of stores and a indoor ski slope which is pretty neat. They have TGI Fridays and other american resteraunts but stay away from the hotel food. It’s horrible. Most of the people are friendly too, just like any other big city. It has a lot of things to do and their building a sky scraper that each floor rotates. The buildings are some of the best in the world too.

We don’t hate Americans; in fact we don’t hate anyone. You should ask Americans who live in here for years if we do hate Americans. My teachers were mostly Americans, who lived here for so many years.
NOTE: Not only Americans live here there are more than 200 nationalities “if not more”
So,
Dubai is cheap relatively to other top destinations, shopping is marvels, if you like nature or ECOTOURESEM I would suggest the following:
go to ALMAHA resort in the desert, you will have a tent shaped villa with a swimming pool, and also you will have the chance to see so many desert animals such as almaha, falcons, lizards, camels, desert foxes, and many others.
Go to
also you could go to BAB ALSHAMSE, a castle like resort that will take you back 100’s of years and you will have the chance to see the life in ARABIA at that time.
Go to
you should also visit Jumana at the SAHRA resort they have a wonderful show every night.
Go to
you should also go to Le Méridien Al Aqah Beach Resort in alfujairah 100 KM far From Dubai, it is a resort on the Indian Ocean, magnificent views and cool beach sports - you should go scuba diving. And then on the way back go to AlSharjah natural museum and have the chance to see the EXTREMLY rare ARABIAN Lapereds.
Go to:
also in city of Dubai go to the museums and shop and have wonderful nights, in dubai you should visit:
Burj Alarab
1) Dubai heritage village
2) Spices market
3) Gold souq
4) Dubai Creek Tour
5) Shopping malls
6) Wild Wadi
7) Ski Dubai
9) Madinat Jumairah
10) Hatta
11) Sand Dunes 4×4 trip
12) The list want finish!!!!!
Best time to visit: between OCT and MARCH
enjoy your visit

Accomodation wise that would be the most expensive. Then you need monsy for transportation but that should cost too much if you pick the right places to go to. Buying food and stuff is fine but hotel food as all around the world tends to be expensive.
Most people visit it to see places like the Burj Tower and the very popular malls especially the Emirates Mall which has skiing and snow related activities. Lots of restaurants there. You will enjoy it and the shopping too.
The country is probably the most friendliest of all in the region.
